Is anyone using the Sanford Guide? They do not have a trial version. How does it run from MS? How large is it? How does it compare to the Johns Hopkins ABX guide?

Sanford guide is identical to the book. Loads in 1 second from the card (no delay at all on my NR 70). I used Hopkins, and this is a much easier format and already familiar since I used the book prior.

I thought it wasn`t supporting palm OS 5 ?

I have the NR series without OS5, but I thought I read somewhere that an NZ user was succesful in getting it to work. Anyway, backwards compatibility is one reason I won't be upgrading my NR70V anytime soon.

Where can I download the Sanford guide? - Dr. Sanford taught one of my classes at my med school years back before he died, actually, I think his ashes are buried at my school in Bethesda - not sure though.

yep i've been very happy with the sanford guide.

sanford is brand name that i can carry in my palm to quickly access appropriate treatment.

i tried the hopkins guide and while i can't argue with it being free, i just found that it's not specific enough. i also tried qID from epocrates (now i guess you have to pay); i just didn't trust it like i do my sanford.

now if only i could get a drug rep to pay for the palm version...oh well. some things are worth paying for.

Sanford Guide is working great on my NX-60, so it must be OS 5 compatible.
