Hey...I've seen the threads about the problem using Intellisync and Outlook 2003, but I don't use Intellisync, I use PocketMirror. I have basically the same problem with Clie Mail, however. When I sync, it gives me a message saying "Could not read the next message from the Desktop Mail System's Inbox."
Anyone found a fix for this?
thanks

If you have ClieMail setup to send and receive using the servers that send you email, there should be no problem. In my experience with an NX80 and a WL110 card, I can download messages on my home network with no problem at all. I think that is the point, you don't download from Outlook or through Pocket Mirror (I use this too), you download directly from the servers of your email account.

Really? I didn't realize that...I've always just had it sync through Outlook, and it's worked. Interesting...
So, could you help me set it up? I get to the part where it asks for your Service, and I use a cable modem through Cox, which isn't one of the choices. What do I pick?
thanks

If you have been downloading your email via hotsync, the built-in Clie Mail software should transfer the messages for you. Pocket Mirror does not handle email. I don't know of Intellisynch now supports email.
If you can connect your WL110 to your cable modem then open Clie Mail on the handheld and go to Options>Accounts. Fill in th eblanks four your namre and email address. Next page you fill in your POP3 port (for me it is 110) and your SMTP Port (for me it is 25). If these settings are different on your PC your an enter those valuse but the ones I mentioned are pretty common.
Tap the Server button and put in your incoming and outgoing mail server. You can call youre ISP for these or check your email account settings on your PC. The server name in your case might be something like mail.coxcable.com. Next, fill in your username and password. Check Leave Mail On Server if you want your PC to also pick up messages.
