Question about the charge light

I am having this problem charging my nx80v. When i put it in the cradle or hook it up to the charge ac (same cable), the orange light goes on but the lighting bolt on the clie itself comes on then goes off to just the reg battery icon. when it is anything other then 100% it doesnt seem to charge yet the light is on orange. I have wiggled the darn cable and sometimes the bolt comes on but never stays and doesnt seem to charge it. if i hold it in place once i have found the right angle to get the bolt on it will charge but heck if i dont set it down and it is off. I also changed the receptor that plugs into the clie a few different times and same thing, is the cable i have been trying to use damaged or the clie itself? DD

Check the socket on the clie is free of grit and fluff - get a Q-tip with Isoprop in there if needs be.

And/Or

Swing by your local sony centre and plug thier charging adaptor cable into your clie (ie, bring your little back adaptor that plug directly onto the clie). It should prove if it is the clie of the cable that's cauing the problem.
