I Cannot Beam...

I own a NX70, am not new to the Palm platform, but have run into a problem that I have not been able to find a solution to as yet.  I cannot beam with my NX70.  It will receive beams from others, but I cannot beam send to either my son's Tungsten (OS5) or a co-worker's NR70 (OS4).  I know that Beam Receive is On (I've looked, and I can receive beams from both of the machines I mentioned), the IR lens is clean, so I don't know where the answer lies.  Don't know but what the IR send might be non-functional.  Any Suggestions??

my sig. other had that problem with the one I gave him for Christmas, he did a soft reset and then it worked fine. I've heard others say they've had to do a reset to get theirs to beam too. Quirky, eh?
