Case problems.

I have had my TG-50 for about a month now and suddenly there seems to be a problem with the case. On the lower half and around the sync port the plastic is beginnng to curve upwards and outwards like it is warping. Has anyone else had this problem? The screws still hold the back on, but the warping starts where the screws are. It is worse where the cover is for the batteries.

Nothing like that with mine. I've also had mine for about a month. How strange!

I have never had that problem before either, I have had my TG50 for about 4 1/2 months.

Is your battery overheating? Perhaps during charging? It sounds like a fault to me.

I agree with Simon Peter; that's not normal.

It's not plastic either. The battery cover and the part around the memory stick/IR is plastic, but the rest of the back is metal (Magnesium?).
