Hi everyone,
I recently downloaded the T615C ROM image from the sony developer's website, but evertime I am running it on the emulator on my computer, it crashes repeatedly even when I don't do anything illegal. I always have to reset it, but it doesn't take long before it will crash again.
Does anyone know where I can get another ROM image for my device? Or if I have not set something up correctly.
Thanks

Are you running it on Sony's T615 emulator? I don't know how far they split them down, but Sony has seperate downloads for many of the different PDAs.
What error is it giving?
Is it only crashing on your applications, or does it crash on the builtin applications as well? If just yours, what part of your program is it in when it is crashing?

I am not sure if the emulator is specifically for the T615 model or not, but I downloaded it from the sony developers site.
The error is gives me is the following:
"Address (4.11S) just read from memory location 0x00000011, which is in low memory.
'Low memory' is defined as the first 256 bytes of memory. It should not be directly accessed by applications under any circumstances."
It gives me three options:
1. continue, which just leads to repeatedly more errors with different memory addresses.
2. debug, which I haven't tried yet and don't think I will be able to understand anyways as I am new to this palm programming.
3. reset, which then allows me to do a soft reset or a hard reset.
This error occurs randomly, but I was just able to reproduce this error by opening the emulator, going into the Address program and then hitting the home button.
If I click continue on the error, it ran through about 8 different memory locations that were too low in memory.
It is not crashing in my applications yet, but I have not loaded too much on the emulator as I wanted to figure out this error before I continue developing.
Any ideas??
