I've had a search through the board and haven't found anything related to this, but I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.
I'm syncing my ux50 to outlook in the office, however most of my contact information is personal. As such most of the addresses I have for people are their home addresses.
However I can't seem to get the home address field to sync up. It always takes the business address, even when I've clicked to make the home address the main address in Outlook.
I'm running Agendus 7.04, syncing to Outlook 2002 via Intellisync.
Is there a preference somewhere to pick up the ticked box in Outlook, or at least to force it to pick up the home address instead of the work one?

I did do a search as I mentioned.
And I'm happy to read the manual, if someone would point me in the right direction of exactly which bit of software I'm having the issue with....is it agendus, intellisync, datebook, outlook. There are quite a few manuals to go through.

Ok...i've been looking all over the place on these forums for answers.
Can anyone confirm that its a setting in the Intellisync setup? If I get pocketmirror will that solve the problem?

I thought you select which address to sync by "checking" mailing address from within MICROSOFT OUTLOOK

That's my basic problem. I've got the home address "checked" in Outlook, but it's not syncing it. I'm only getting the business address.

Dracnath,
2 questions, what version of Outlook do you use (I use 2003) and what program do you use to sync Outlook with the CLIE (I use Intellisync Lite which was included with the CLIE CD).
Here's what I suggest you should do. (I had a similar problem and dealt with it this way)
On Outlook, for each contact, click and check "This is the mailing address" for each address, home or business, that you want to see as the contact address on your CLIE.
Open up Intellisync Configure, highlight Addressbook <=> MS Outlook, click "Advanced...", then click "Field Mapping", click OK for the next dialogue until you reach "Field Mapping for AddressBook".
Scroll down until you see "Mailing Address Street" on the right column under "Contacts" MS Outlook. Click and drag that up to where it says "Address" under the column "Sony CLIE".
Do the same for city, state, postal code, and country such that you see the following:
Sony CLie "Contact" MS Outlook
Address |<=>| Mailing Address Street
City |<=>| Mailing Address City
State |<=>| Mailing Address State
Zip Code |<=>| Mailing Address Postal Code
Country |<=>| Mailing Address Country
Click OK, OK, OK until you get out of Intellisync.
Sync your CLIE and that should be that.

Here's another trick that I use. I use this so that I can have both the home and business address on the CLIE.
1) I change custom field 1 to Business Address on the CLIE Addressbook. (Addressbook->Menu->Options->RenameCustomFields).
2) Using the process I mentioned above, I make home address the default address.
3) Again, using the process above I put Home Address (Street, CIty, State, PC, and COuntry) from Outlook Contacts to the CLIE Addressbook fields (Address, City, etc)
4) Then, where it says Custom 1 for CLIE, I put "Business Address" just like I mentioned above.
5) OK everything and sync.
Whamo, you have Home and Business address for each of your contacts now.

You have made me and my clie much happier. It worked like a charm. Can I just add that your responce really should be in the FAQ.

Glad to be much more of a help than "read the manual and do a search"
