Ya know... I keep reading all this crap about the NZ being so thick and heavy, and honestly it pisses me off. I personally carry a laptop, cell phone and my Clie (currently NR). I am not pleased with my NR as the time is limited for battery usage. I can hook my CLIE up to my laptop and charge it that way, but it's only using the batterys of the laptop to charge the Clie up with. So either way I'm just having fun on borrowed time. With my job I have a LOT of downtime, so being able to have the capability of using another battery in the NZ is EXTREMELY pleasing to me. Those of you bashing the NZ need to think about what the machine is capable of. Don't bash the camera or think the add on's are "too much". I assure you the first time you come across something and want to take a pic of it and the only thing you have on you is your palm pilot you'd be happy knowing that you have a higher definition camera. Sony is only trying to improve on it's product, so let them.

Furthermore, the NZ is the only model out so far that is going to be able to use the new memorystick pro. I LOVE IT! Think about loading up 200 megs of programs just for play alone! yeah, they will be expensive, but that is part of the price you pay for fun. Looking back, I've had an N760, currently own a NR70V, and am going to upgrade to an NZ as soon as possible. I love the color, and all the features that the current models don't have. I've also read in another thread about the placement of the stylus. So what if it's not in the proper place. Get a case for it, and get another stylus. I RARELY use the stylus in my NR. It's usually stuck in the bottom while I use my pentopia stylus thats in the case. Just my two cents worth for all those unregistered people bashing the newest technology...

NX 70V also supports Memory Stick Pro. Only thing I found good about NZ compared to NX is the Camera with Flash, but its a 2 Million Pixel one thereby taking up too much memory. Also the keyboard looks much better and has a inbuilt blue tooth.

I hope the price comes down under 500$ sometime soon.

After playing with it at Compusa for a little bit I was thoroughly impressed with the NZ. It doesn't feel as heavy as it is because it is so well balanced, in open mode, the lcd is balanced out by the added heft of the main portion creating a very natural feel. My biggest complaint besides the price (a bit much for me) is they moved everything on it. You should have seen the strange looks the sales guy and I were getting when we couldn't find the reset hole from a woman trying to buy the $40 casio organizer. A little humbling but I think it would be worth relearning the location of everything.
