I sent a message to ZZTechs asking about new things in ZLauncher. Here's the response which came back in just a couple of days.

We have lots plans on ZL, such as file manager, individual tab settings, different tab layout, icon alignment, and etc..

We are working on ZL 2.22, it's in beta stage. The new File Manager is on the way, and it should be available in ZL 2.30, which is planned to be released at the beginning of March. Other plans are not scheduled yet.

Looks like we have to be patient for another few weeks.

Very cool. The beta solved my two greatest annoyances: Getting to the BackImage tab in Theme Manager every time and previewing the backgrounds.

Just read about the latest version of CopperDeck posted on PalmGear. The update description says "Made sidetabs and upside-down tabs in preparation for next ZL". Looks like one of my requests is coming soon. They are amazing.
