Background:
- Used to be able to play MP3 files downloaded off of the web.
- Using the MS Import utility to transfer files to my Sony 128MB MS.
- MP3 files play fine on my PC and portable MP3 player.
- Using Clie NX70V's default Audio Player
- Palm OS 5.0
Problem:
When I click on the MP3 file on my Clie, I get the message,
"This track is unavailable for one of the following reasons: The MS media is write-protected or does not support copyright control, or the track file is corrupted."
I know that reasons 1 and 3 are not the culprits (1) because I don't have my MS locked (if that's what that error msg. means) and (2) I can play the same track file on other sources.
Only remaining reason could be #2... does not suppport copyright control... I don't know what the heck this means.
I've read a gazillion posts on the MP3 subject so far but none of them address my specific problem... or so I think.
Could someone out there shed some light on this issue? I'm running out of ideas. Thanks!
