I am a new user of NX80 and would like to know if (and how) it is possible to view pdf files on Clie?
Also what how do i increase the standard 16MB ram on handheld - I now can not downlaod any more software applications?

The only program I have ebver used which viewed PDA files on a palm in their native format was PicselViewer. However, I found the interface to be cumbersome and not always as responsive as I would have liked.

Adobe Acrobat offers a special Palm OS version of their Acrobat Reader (for free!). But you need to convert the *.pdf files on your PC first and then Hotsync them onto your device.
Works quite well, but I don't recommend it for datasheets that contain a lot of tables because tables were converted to simple text and were nearly unreadable on your PDA. (maybe they have corrected that in an actual version...)

As i know there'r only that two options for PDF files,
the Picsel Viewer, that open the native PDF files, steps:
- Open data import on your palm,
- On your PC, copy the PDF files to your memory stick, that appears in the computer as a external drive,
- Disconnect the data import, open picsel viewer, find the open file icon, and browse to your memory stick, where you put the PDF file.
or use the Acrobat Reader, that dont shows you the PDF file as it looks in your PC, but if it is only text, you'll get a better view than what you'll get with Picsel,
- Install the Acrobat Reader for Palm in your PC, and that will install it too in your Palm,
- Open the Acrobat Converter in your PC, and convert any pdf you want in your palm,
- Sync your palm, so your PDF will be transferred to your palm,
- Open the Acrobat Reader on your palm, and it will show you the list of PDF files you transferred from your computer, open your file and enjoy,
As has been said before, if your file has tables, or graphics, or anything not text, the Acrobat is not your chose, and the Picsel shows it to you as it will look in your PC,
But if your Acrobat has a lot of text, and what you want is read it, the Acrobat Reader is better,

My experience with the Acrobat Reader for Palm is a little less glowing, I found it very slow and cumbersome...
I have had better luck with the Docs to Go Premium edition which supports pdf files....
I believe they have a free trial...

Repligo is expensive, but by far the best solution for PDF's. The convert very nicely as does most any document type. It installs a printer driver which does the conversion. I have alot of PDF's on my NX60 that I've converted with Repligo.

I am unable to get the pDF files to work. I drag and drop them on the desktop app of Docs To Go which apparently coverts them to a mobile version but after sync I cannot open those PDF files on my palm.
Any suggestion?
Thanks

you have got a lot of suggestions for the PDF files. To increase the memory, use JackFlash - a lot of people are using it and help will be easily available on CS. Do a search on it and you can get loadds of stuff... :)
I have used picsel viewer, it works great except I do have one pdf that will not display for some reason.
It's that famous sushi memo that was in the news a little while back.
