It is listed as compatible with the PEG-NR70,PEG-NR70V,PEG-NX73V,PEG-NX80V,PEG-SJ20,PEG-SJ22,PEG-SJ30,PEG-SJ33,PEG-SL10,PEG-T415,PEG-T615C,PEG-T665C, and PEG-TG50. As you can see the NX70 is not listed but the strange thing is that the NX73/80 are. The NX60/70/73/80 have the same OS and the same connector. Therefore I would have a hard time imagining it not working on the NX70. The only reason I could see it not working is because maybe it doesn't fit but you could always modify it to fit :D. Anyway if you decide to buy it and give it a try, you will need this (ftp://ftp.ita.sel.sony.com/ccpg/clie/KB11UPDATE.EXE) driver.

I use the Stowaway XT. It's great!
Once you figure our that you have to have Beam Recieve set to ON!

no, it is not compatible, I have a NX73V and it is fine with the new driver. However, i guess sony did not realize that the NX70 was not compatible until after releasing it. However, they fixed the problem in the newer clies like mine, tg50, etc. you can mod the keyboard, or buy the kb100 keyboard, which sony released and discontinued due to this conflict. Both are great keyboards, if u want more info, do a search on cs, i posted a kb11 compatibility thread about a year ago lol, along with other threads
search, and ye shall find it
ps. im typing wirelessy on my clie for the first time!
lol, cliesource mobile is in french

NO...Believe me, I tried to get the KB11 to work with the NX70V. No dice! I now have the KB100 on order. By the way, The Belkin G700 (advertised to work with the NX70V) will not work either. I now have two beautiful but useless keyboards while I await the arrival of the Kb100.

I have the KB 100 and it is great. After visiting a client I transfer all my handwritten notes to my NX70V (Docs2 Go) while on the plane trip home, then email the notes/new file from home that night to appropriate co-workers for their implementation.

Just out of curiousity, is it a physical limitation (eg. doesn't fit) or software limitation.

Yes, it is a hardware limitation of the NX60/70
For the KB11, search on the forum, I've post a long time ago a mod to patch the ketboard, but be carefull, you need to be very good in soldering.
For the belkin G700, there is a driver who permit to use it on a these PDA.
Do a search on the forum, and you will find your answer.
Edit : Here's the link for my mod Here's the link for my mod (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5580)
