Sandisk MS Pro Issues

Picked up 256 MS Pro card at Best Buy yesterday. Now that I spent the big bucks on storage, why won't the card work?

What am I doing wrong? Do I have to initialize or format it prior to use with the clie? I can't get it to download anything or songs from Sonic Stage (media unsupported error).

What Clie are you using? If it's NX70 you need MSPro update.

But you can read the card fine, without SonicStage, right?

Sony is "working" on SonicStage's support for MS Pro and Atrac MP3.

i have a nx73 and a sandisc magicgate ms pro 256, and used it first in my cybershot ( formatted with cybershot ) and then in my nx73, and works fine.

if i format the ms through my pc, it wont work on camera or on pda, so dont do that, format with cybershot or clie

Check the lock tab in your MS....

First thing to do: GET RID OF SONICSTAGE! I detest it. Just use DataImport to drag mp3's into the audioplayer folder on your Clie. A million times easier than using that sonicstage POS.

I've formated stick on the clie, lock isnt on and still can't access Sonicstage.

I created the root and subsequent directories for videos--they worked on the stick. Still no music.

I don't mind sonicstage, but would you guys provide me links to cybershot or dataimport?

Sonicstage will not recognize the MS Pro it is not compatible at this time. Even though the MSPRO is magicgate it is not recognized for ATRAC3....

As has been said, you can use msimport to drag mp3 onto mspro and use music that way
