I just reinstalled uninstall manager on my NX. I had it installed on it a couple weeks ago but i deleted it. When I reinstalled it, the icon doesn't show up in Zlauncher. I tried refreshing the apps and showing hidden icons but neither works. it shows up fine in the palm os launcher. why doesn't it show up in Zlauncher? it used to when i had it installed a couple weeks ago.

Did you load the shortcut file? It's a hack so that's where it would normally show up in you hack master, but there is a shortcut file that will let you access it directly. Make sure you loaded it.

I think it was a hack for OS4 but is an actual program for 0S5. The zip file only included 2 files: the program and a file called "messy" to test out how well it works.

You could look at the file type using filez, or something . . . it would be 'hack' type if it's a hack . . . that would explain why it's not showing up. Or, you could create a 'hack' tab to see if it shows up . . . to do this in ZL . . . go to tab|new tab|choose preset hack. Should show up automatically.
I've never tried that specific program though, so these suggestions are untried.
Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Manager for OS5 is not a hack. If you installed it to the card, you may have to refresh the app display using the assigned tool or Menu/Options/Refresh apps. That will bring it up from the card.

I installed it in ram. tried everything i could think of: refreshing, showing hidden icons, etc. nothing works. Only way i can run it is by going into the built in palm launcher and clicking on the icon. I can't figure it out

unistall manager makes sure that when you delete a file, all associated files get deleted too. Seems to be pretty useful so far

I tried it but it kept crashing my T665C. Probably some conflict, but I didn't think it worth persuing very hard. I emailed the developer a couple of times, but although he answered promptly, he didn't provide any solutions that worked.

Are you refering to Uninstall Manager or Uninstall Hack? It is my understanding Uninstall Manager is OS5 Specific and doesn't work at all with OS4. Uninstall Hack is the OS4 solution. Does Uninstall Hack crash your T665?

Sorry, I was talking about the hack, which crashed my T665C. It wasn't a predictable thing, as least to the extent that I played with it.
