Is it just me or is certain keywords in some threads double underlined and when my mouse goes over the link a small box appears telling me about some website that has this on sale or something to that effect.
keywords like: pda, modem, harddrive,
what the hell.. I got spy bot protecting me and all that other stuff.

All you need to do is register and login and it will all go away. So will the pop-up ads if you are getting those too. :)

I like this pop-ups only for unreg people :) Stick them where it hurts. Not all unreg are bad only the special case ones.:D
if you've posted in a thread, you get an e-mail when someone else posts in that thread. The e-mail gives you a link to the post. Click on the link, and you arrive there as an unregistered person. Is there any way of adjusting settings so that you can click on the link and arrive there with your registered identity?

Enable cookies on your browser and check the little box that says remember me when you sign in.

Isn't that what caused the SNAFU about the unique identifier being broadcast on Intel chips?
And product activation for Microsoft products?

Also, be sure the e-mail in your profile is set right, and that it's not being filtered out by any spam catching software.
