i have installed clie mail, inbox to go wireless, and onemail on my ux50. however i can't get onemail to work. i've searched the threads to no avail. The error i'm getting (after the hotsync) is something along the lines of  "You have Cliemail installed!  Ask for OneMail for Clie Installer".

I'm not sure who to ask exactly so i'll ask you. how do i get this to work on my clie? should i delete cliemail? (and if so, how do i do that? what is it called in the delete drop down box?).

thanks -

MMA

  i'm really looking for some kind of outlook express replacement that checks all of my email, hotmailmail accounts as well as pop3 accounts.

this is like my ux50 personal blog!

I want a program that will synchronize with my outlook express, downloading both my pop3 mail as well as my several hotmail accounts (http mail).

First I installed davitz inbox to go (http://www.dataviz.com/products/inboxtogo/) trial version. It works nicely but apparently it only downloads pop3 mail.

Then I&nbsp;downloaded onemail (see above msg). It told me that I had cliemail installed and that I needed to get the cliemail installer. I shot a question out to the onemail guys and received several links for new installers (see above msg in this thread).

I tried both the cliemail installer and the inboxtogo installer. first uninstalled inbox to go from my computer and clie. then i installed the cliemail installer. I go the following error:

<DIV>----</DIV>

<DIV>Error</DIV>

<DIV>MemoryMgr.c, Line 3564, NULL handle</DIV>

<DIV>You may need to restart the handheld by</DIV>

<DIV>performing a soft reset. Please press the</DIV>

<DIV>RESET button.</DIV>

<DIV>-----</DIV>

<DIV>followed by a completely useless reset button. I successfully used a soft reset.</DIV>

<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>

<DIV>I uninstalled the onemail from my computer and clie and reinstalled inbox to go. it worked fine again. then i installed the onemail for inboxtogo and got the same error.</DIV>

<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>

<DIV>So now i have sent another message to the support folks and we'll see what's up. it doesn't look too good though - a google search for this error shows a smattering of it occurring on all kinds of palm machines, and i get a feeling it'll just be one of those randomly occurring errors that never go away....</DIV>&nbsp;

I suffered through similar problems last night.&nbsp; All I really want to do is send and receive my hotmail account through my clie.&nbsp; One mail looked perfect.&nbsp; It can be frustrating to get installed though.&nbsp;

After you install the trial version and hotsync, you need to lay down the installer for the particular base email program you are trying to use this with (cliemail, iambic...)

You can find most at Handango.&nbsp; Palmgear doesnt have these for some reason.&nbsp; The only place I could find the ClieMail installer was at OneMail's website.&nbsp;

After you do that it should be installed correctly and sync up.&nbsp; One word of caution however... I got this sucker working through ClieMail just fine until I wanted to send a message.&nbsp; After there was something in the outbox it hung and failed on a hotsync every bloody time.&nbsp; Finally, I gave up and set it up through Iambic mail.&nbsp; By the time I got that working and syncing, I didn't have the patience to test out a send, but plan to today.&nbsp; I'll let you know how it goes...

Hope that helps

No, you cant really uninstall ClieMail unless you use an app like JackFlash (something like that) because its in ROM.&nbsp; I would delete one mail from both your palm and your desktop first.&nbsp; Do a soft reset and reboot your PC.&nbsp; Reinstall the OneMail trial.&nbsp; Sync.&nbsp; Install the specific ClieMail installer from OneMail and sync again.&nbsp; You will have to get that file from OneMails website because it is not on Handango or PalmGear.&nbsp; Or I can email it to you when I get home from work.

The Onemail website has a whole section on OnemailToGo, which claims to offer wireless access to AOL, MSN, Yahoo, etc. mail through Onemail. However, I can't find this program on their site or anywhere else. Does anyone know if it exists, or where I can find it?
