Lately everytime I go to Clie Viewer and then exit, my clie crashes. I don't really use Clie Viewer too much so it isn't a giant problem but when someone beams me pictures it automatically opens Clie Viewer. Everything works fine until I exit and then I get the B&W screen and have to reset the pda. Does anyone know how to fix this? All help is appreciated. Thanks
SB
it could be a confilect in your TJ25, maybe you need to do a hard reset, that will help for sure...!

Have you checked the pictures? Maybe there is a corrupt file. Perhaps you could try to delete the pics one by one and exit the viewer after the deleting. So it should be possible to figure out, if and when yes which pic is corrupt. Perhaps one of the pics that your received by beaming has a format error. Maybe that it isn't displayed by the viewer so you should check the files with your filemanager, too.

Thanks I deleted all the pictures and tried it but the clie still crashes. Is there maybe a way to uninstall the clie viewer and then reinstall it again? That might help.

The ClieViewer is, I believe, not in RAM...so I don't think it can be uninstalled. You might be able to delete any associated preferences or something. But, this sounds like a similar issue I was having with the PicselViewer on my TJ35.
Since you did a backup, hard reset, and restored...you might, instead try restoring individual applications/files one at a time...don't restore system preferences. If, as you go along, adding another file and the problem appears...well, you have your culprit.
Definitely a bug on the CLieViewer, though. I wish there was a way to get Sony to replace these buggy applications without comparable ones, since they are part of what they are using to advertising these products.

Thanks Ryan I'll definetly try it. It is weird though because Clie Viewer seemed to work fine before. It might be another app or something corrupting it or something but since I don't use Clie Viewer alot I don't know when the problem was created.

Is that how you solved your PicselViewer problem? It'll take forever to restore everything individualy. How do i know which the system preferences are? Thanks

Hi, I individually restored my palm(except for Saved Preferences) and now I don't have the problem anymore. Clie Viewer works perfectly. The bad part is now I have to set all my preferences in Zlauncher and all other programs to they way they were before and register them again. Thanks everyone for all the help.
