I was putting my Stylus back into it's 'holder' just before and then i got the awful feeling of something breaking... Sure enough I don't get a 'click' when I insert my stylus now. Has anyone had a similar problem and fixed it or had it fixed under warranty?! I've suddenly lost faith in my NX80's build quality now :-(

mines stopped clicking after a few days i got it. but the middle part of the stylus still seems secure inside, so i'm not very worried.

I was just going to post about this! I have had my NX80V for 4 months now and just THIS week my stylus stopped snapping firmly into place. I mean..it's still in there pretty firmly, not going anywhere but that crisp distinct 'CLICK' doesn't happen anymore. I thought the problem was with the stylus so I put a brand new one in there...and same thing, no snap into place. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come!

I've had my NX80 since July, and it stopped snapping so long ago I don't even remember when (probably August ;) ). I do have to keep an eye on it sometimes because while the fatter section stays secure in the Clie, the extendable section will slide out, and can get snagged on clothing and things, causing it to be pulled all the way out. Whenever I take out my Clie, I always check to make sure the stylus is securely in it, because on a few occasions it's gotten dropped while I pulled it out of my pocket. Luckily I always check right away, so if it does fall, it's right on the floor at my feet.

Yeah... its a good idea to check it for dropping parts daily. I even give it a daily inspection for dings and scratches.

Mine is new and the top of the stylus never snapped like it did on my NX70. I thought it was normal so that the bottom snaps and the stylus extends itself as you pull it out.

I have had my NX80 for over 6 months and my stylus still has a click to it. My only complaint about the build quality is the fact that it scratches so easily. After one week, my nx had a lot of scratches. Now, I don't really notice them. But, it would be nice to get a more durable finish in the next nx.

I am afraid of breaking the stylus when taking out the stylus, because the silo simply hold the stylus too tight!!!:)

Mine still works fine (tho, I've only had it for a couple months), but I like the design.

I guess it's hit and miss. I've had display problems but no stylus silo nor screen scratch problems.

The grass sure is greener... I'd settle for a non-clicking stylus for no more screen glitches any day.

Mine stopped clicking a while back. I put a little piece of scoth tape around it so that when I pull it out it pulls the stylus fully open.
