Hi!

Any UX50 + P800 user out there? I want to use my P800 as a mirror of the UX50, just for contacts, tasks, calendar and notes. Of course, I have installed more apps, but thats the main reason.

So, I sync UX50 with Outlook, and then Outlook with P800, and viceversa. Is there a better, faster or more convenient way?

OTOH, is there some good PIM app out there for P800? I've tried Handy Day (the best so far), Tracker (don't like it), Agendus UIQ (don't like it...far less useful than PalmOS version), DateBookPlus (it crashes the P800 through AppForge Booster) etc.

Finally, how can I sync "Category" field from Outlook to P800? They are always synched as "Unfiled", even they are cathegorized in Outlook and UX50.

Thanks in advance!

Ed

Running things through Outlook is the best I've come up with. You actually have to do it three times -- UX50, then P800, then UX50 again -- to make sure everything is fully sync'ed.

The category "feature" is a known feature of the P800; there's no workaround AFAIK.

Thanks for your answer!

I was thinking so, but just wanted to check that I was not missing a better way

Yep. I read about that few hours after, in a Symbian forum. What was SE people thinking about when they decided not to implement categories????? It's not a conventional mobile phone...that is admisible in a SE T610 or similar, but not in a smartphone. I guess I will have to categorize todo's after each sync....crap!!!

Anyway.... any good news about a third party app for PIM (close to Datebk5 or Agendus for PalmOS functionality...or better than the built in)?

Thanks in advance.
