avi, mpeg conversion for clie

What is the most simple program that will make my 158000mb-700000mb mpeg and avi files smaller? (i want them to fit on a 128 or a 256 ms)

what files exactly do you have?

image converter should fix those files nicely, assuming u have uncompressed audio

im sorry,its 158-700mb. They are ripped dvds. (i own the movies) In avi and mpeg format. I want to view them on my clie with a 128mb or 256mb ms.

Just use image converter and select standard quality. That should do it. If not, go for the long mode option.

i got my 4.4 gig dvd rip of my movie into 4 nice files totalling 487megs. image quality is excellent on clie!
