Hi guys-
I've been attempting to get my NX70V to communicate with my Motorola A830 (through Bluetooth & IR) to very little avail. I can send contacts, and use it as a 9.6k modem but that's about it. Has anyone successfully got a Clie to work with a "3" 3G phone? If so- how, and what functionality did you get? Please list phone model with post. Thanks!

Hello Nasium,
We make 3 g link cables connecting the Clie series to a number of
different phones. Please take a moment to view our web site. Search
under manufacturer then look for your model, this will provide you with a list of phones in which to connect to. www.thesupplynet.com

Are you connecting to the phone using a 'Phone' setting in 'Preferences' > 'Network' > 'Connection' > 'Connect to...'? If so, it might be worth trying a setup using 'Connect to PC'. The modem speed you're getting looks like circuit-switched speed and you should be getting packet-based speeds with your phone. I think that using the PC settings makes the Clie expect data in packets (just guessing here, as I had to use 'PC' settings to use GPRS on my NX70V). Anyway, try it and let us all know - we'll all have to change soon anyway..
