on the Clies

That's a very interesting question. However, it's also a pretty dumb one.

Yep, you'r right,
with some kind of emulator may be you could run some Pocket PC programs, of the whole operating system.
But the problem is that you have to emulate all the hardware, so if you have a Clie with a 200mhz processor, you will have running a Pocket PC with a processor of 20mhz, because of the emulation process. And moreover, you'll have a lot of hardware that you cant emulate, or have partial emulation.
and your emulator should run under palm os,
And so on, and on, will have a lot of problem with it.

Actually, it's not the same as running Mac OS on a PC. Windows Mobile and Palm OS run on the same processors and with the right hardware, both OS's could run on the same machine. The idea isnt too crazy, it just hasnt been done yet.
