Dropped my car off for detailing.

Took a seat in the waiting room.

About 30 minutes of waiting lay ahead of me.

Bored as F*CK.

Turned on the NX to listen to mp3s.

Pulled it out of my pocket to adjust the Bass Boost setting.

Noticed that I forgot to take out the WiFi card before leaving the house with the NX.

Said to myself, 'Eh, might as well give it a shot.'

'Initializing...'

'Connecting...'

'Connected.'

Now guess what I'm using to make this post :D

WiFi rocks. The NX rocks. Built-in keyboards rock. Humps rock.

BTW; even cooler: Just asked the manager -- they don't even have a wireless network! The most likely source, I guess, is the dealership WAAAY on the other side of the boulevard. That's freaking amazing, considering I'm in the back of the car wash in an area completely surrounded by walls.

Really cool! I love my NX and wifi! Still want an NZ, though.

is there something you need to set the card to to pick up other basestations? i can surf while at home using my network but haven't been able to use others without knowing the SSID...is there something i'm doing incorrectly?

I just leave the SSID field blank (CLIE automatically sets it to 'Any'), then check off 'Auto' for both IP addy and DNS setup. Works for most places :)

It increases the angle of the keyboard too when it's lying flat. I still love my NX too, it's the blessed NetFront that I hate:D!
