View Full Version : how can i enter a large text document to my clie

i have a document 5 pages long in MS word but if i try to sync it to my t665 via notepad it will breat it up into several entries and truncate the text so that i wont be able to understand whats going on... what program can i easily use to get the info into my palm so it looks the same way i see it into ms word..and how exactly do i do it..thanks in advance.

If you're going to be doing lots of Word stuff I would check into Dos to Go - I use it for my lengthy novels and it works great...I never tried Wordsmith but hear it is good as well.

Wordsmith. Even some cheapo word processing programs out there.

Or chop up the doc into separate files that can fit into memopad.

I use Docs To Go and it handles native Word docs fairly well. One thing to remember, however, is that you won't be able to ALWAYS get the same view of a Word doc as you do on your computer at home. Some formatting is not possible to be replicated on the Clie, though Docs To Go does a nice job of keeping that code intact even though it can't display it when editting a file.
