you can get the trial from the manufacturer's website, kalemsoft or something . . . . the restriction is it'll only play a few small roms and your play is limited to 5 minutes . . . .

When i install the roms to the NesEm directory they don't show up on the NesEm app. Is there anything that i'm missing. What do i need to do to correct this.
Thankyou :)

Use the convertor that came with it. make sure you select your name in it. And then click install. That's it.

PS It might help if you read the manual.

I just purchased the Gizmo Ultra emulator for my UX. I just can't get enough of sonic! I've installed 450 roms and about 400 of them work excluding street fighter II! Is it that street fighter is not compatible with Gizmo Ultra or might it be a corrupt file? Does anyone know if they're gonna make gizmo ultra in lanscape mode? And could you also tell me any other good games on it.
Thankyou :)

Using the /NESEm directory on the MS is also supposed to work. The convertor is just if you want to store the ROM's to RAM.

Using the convertor is easier. Then you click the VFS button in the emulator and VOILA it copies it to your MS. But you could do it the other way.

So overall would you say this is worth it? I have a clie game controller, but I don't see myself gaming on here all the time... Still, seems like it would be fun!

--Illah I'd say it was worth it to be able to play Super Mario 3 on my Clie. That alone was worth the 20 dollar price of the emulator. All other games are just gravy IMHO.

I got the Gizmo Ultra Emu. But now i'm thinkin 'why din't i get NesEm instead!!!'. Even though gizmo has a few good games, sonic, terminator, shinobi etc. Street fighter doesn't seem to work!!!, I really like Mario!
Why couldn't they make an emulator which emulates all console. That way i could play Mario as well!!!

Hmmm, the demo keeps crashing my Clie and Mario Bros starts on random levels... You think this is a NesEm issue or the ROM itself?

I think it might be a ROM problem. Super Mario Bros does the same thing on my Clie. But SMB3 works great, along will a number of other games. If they could only get Base Wars working 100% correctly, I would be very happy. :D

Hmmm, anyone know a list of what's 100% working? The demo only allows ROM's under 40KB, basically SMB and Donkey Kong and that's about it. I want to test with games I'll actually play like Super Punch Out, Zelda, Final Fantasy, FFII, 1942, etc...

Quick question... I use a NZ-90, and for some reason when run NESEM, the virtual graffiti pad keeps popping up and i can't "hide" it. and the color gets all screwed up in the graffiti area, and the screen seize is restricted to the upper half since the virtual graffiti takes up a good 1/3rd of the bottom, and the black "boarder" in the emulator cuts it down even more. is there anyway to hide my Graffiti pad even when the down hiding button thingy is disabled? and is there a way to expand the screen seize for the NESEM? thx

Illah,
I think about 300 games are functional with the emulator as of now, including all of the ones you mentioned, except for punchout. I have the updated version and for some reason it just doesn't work! It says it's supposed to. Maybe it's my T E.
And the demo version is garbage, at least in my use. Registered is SOOOO much better. It for some reason would mess up my games on the demo. Hmm, makes you think... Anyways, I love NESEM. Here's the list of games that i PLAY on there.
Battletoads
Contra
Donkey Kong Jr
Double Dragon
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Kirby's Adventure
Legend of Zelda
Mario Bros
Mega Man 2 &6
Metal Gear
Metroid
Rampage
SMB 2&3
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2
Tiny Toon Adventures
Hope this helps :)

A number of apps don't have support for dropping the Graffiti area. For some apps, CodeDiver will allow you to override that, but it won't work for games such as this. For getting rid of the border, the latest version has a fullscreen option.

To make it fullscreen, you have to have version 1.4b. Then go into setup, then hit next and there is an option to change the screen resolution. You can't change it while the game is running though, only at the main menu.

it's on their "downloads" page on the lower right under "NESEm 1.4 beta" or something. it's not for sale but it is downloadable for people that purchased 1.3
