Battery Life

A new thread desgined to find out what ways you can extend the battery life. Please post hints as to what the best combo is short of swapping out for another battery.

IE - backlight levels, turning off powersave mode on the wlan card, flash drains, ir recieve, etc...

since i dont have an NZ not sure, but I assume most of what I do with my NX would be the same:

Keep backlight on, but turn almsot all the way down.

Turn off beam receive

Turn off all sounds

I've found so far that the camera (even when not using flash), WLAN and outputting to TV are the big power drainers. Turning down brightness helps. I can't say that relative to the magnitude of drain I see from the above mentioned apps, that IR and sound really make much of a diff.
