The specification of the NZ90 says that it is an CFII slot.

Though 3rd party drivers are needed to make the CF slot useable for memory cards beside the WL100. So I am not sure if you really can profit from the increased speed of CFII memory cards such as the SanDisk Ultra II. It allows 10MB/s reading and 9 MB/s writing.

Will I really get this performance on my NZ with such card?

It Supports every kind of CF storage card:
CF
CF Ultra
CF Mircodrive (read only)

Performance is the same on every card, i think

I have tried the 3rd-party software, but it didn't work for me,
tried 3 cards none of them worked :(
well the cards where from other people, don't to buy a CF-card and then find out that it doesn't work :)

so, you just have to try it.
i'll just wait untill the 3rd-party software gets a bit better :)

Is the Microdrive definately read-only? I know you can't record pictures or video to it from the Sony apps, but can you not move files and/or 3rd party apps to it from main memory?? I'm about to buy one of these units so I would like to know... thanks.
