Is there a possibily of getting backrounds without a launcher? (SJ30) I dont want to pay that much for a launcher. ( i have only spent 15.00$ for games and thats it and i wont add to it) I like free ware. Its more likely i dont like paying for things i cant take back. I heard of sumthing like backdropc but i haven't found it yet. Help is appreciated. Thanks

Unfortunately NO. Even BackdropGc is 18.99 http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?sid=56261720030114045639&prodID=13140

And BackdropGC requires the photos to be in FireViewer format, another $$$. I bought them both when I was a SilverScreen junky. I am now a very happy YiShow geek! :D With YiShow and SplashPhoto, making and loading backgrounds is extremely simple and painless. See some of my uploads, mostly under YiShow Backgrounds/Places. Look for the ones with my userID. It took me about 2 min. to convert and upload them. With SplashPhoto, you can select 320x320 or 320x480, click save, and I prefer to upload them using MS Import, which takes seconds to drag them to the SplashPhoto folder on my MS, vs. waiting for a complete sync. Hope this helps! :)

ZLauncher is only $12, and it will do backgrounds and a whole lot more . . . give it a whirl....

try zlauncher... it rocks.

and you can try it for free... so if you don't like it, you don't have to pay for it... solves the "taking back" problem.

You know, don't know if they've upgraded lately, but BackdropGC caused bad things to happen on my 760. I haven't tried it since! Hard resets are the pits.

The last version of BackgroundGC that I used didn't have an option for high-resolution. So, what would happen is that the low-resolution background would appear under my high-resolution programs. The fonts would get all messed up and I couldn't read or use that high-resolution application.

So, I'd disable BackgroundGC for that application. After a while, it got to the point where I had to disable it for almost every application I used on a daily basis. At that point, I asked myself, "Why am I using this anymore?"

It totally messed up my screen. I had to disable it. All the games were pink green and yellow. Now i'm on a quest for zlauncher
