Hello, I think i'd be very helpful if everybody posts their favorite place to get Palm OS FreeWare! :)

I know that Palmgear.com has some but I don't know of anyplace else ;)

I guess he has so many pop ups to help pay for the site.  It's not like he gets a commission on the sale of apps or anything . . .

freewarepalm.com- LOTS of pop-ups, but hey- ITS FREE! Virus concerns? Use a decent virus program and get on with your life. The real downside here is that most of the offerings are either specialized or junk. Some are also not REALLY free- demos, free add-ons to pay programs, etc.

ZDNet.com, CNet.com (Downloads.com), tucows.com- good general sites, but not all free. Most items are rated, however which keeps down the junk programs.

Eurocool.com is pretty good, but not all free.

There are some Yahoo groups that offer some good stuff also- Clie User Group, nXtClie Club, etc. (Look in the 'Files' sections)

Do a search at Handango or palmgear. search as "freeware". It will come back with a few sharewares in the search but it will narrow things down some.

Get a pop-up blocker for surfing freewarepalm.com:-)
