Upgrading NX73v OS???

My buddy has a cheapo Palm m125 or something and in his Memo list, he can input some text and link it to a scribble and then collapse all these scribbles into his memo list...

I don't like the Clie Doodler Memo thingy because my text input can't be that long (i think 20 char max)

So, uh... do I need to upgrade my OS and how does one do this?

I believe those are not standard OS features, and just things that PalmOne added to those specific devices. There are not any upgrades to enable those features.
