While following a screen protector thread a few days ago, I found a suggestion to cut an overhead acetate to size and insert it under the upper frame of the Clie.
I did just that (cut 8 or 9 while I had everything gathered) and it works great!
It remains very clear and doesn't cloud at all.
I have a pretty bad worn spot on my digitizer in the alpha pane of the virtual graffiti area. With the new protector, the stylus glides right over the worn area like nothing's wrong.
BTW the dimensions to cut are 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" for the NR70.
If you're not afraid to take out some TINY screws and get inside your Clie, this is a great fix.
