Hi!
I would like to know what you think about the Merck Manual for the PDA. The application contains two files merck.pdb and the Reader.prc. I installed both on the memory stick but the Reader does not see the merck.pdb. I do not have 5 MB of internal memory on my Clie. Did anybody manage to run the application from a memory stick? I would like to know about your experience with this. Thanks in advance.

Take out something you can replace without trouble, put Merck in ram, run it from the card using powerun, and reinstall the removed apps. Each app only takes up 1-3 k in ram.

Just remember that with PowerRun you will need to keep enough RAM empty to move the program back and forth to! PowerRun works like a champ for this.

I have the reader file on my internal memory and use MSMount to make it "think" the Merck Manual is also on internal memory. I downloaded MSMount so long ago I have forgetten the website, sorry.

I must agree with CRZYGRL about leaving enough free mem to run merck, but if you run most all of you other apps from the card with powerun, they might be able to leave merck in ram, keeping an open block of mem only as large as the next largest app on the card.

I'd go for Clinical Medicine Consult, which is an ISILO based hyperlinked book, I have used it for 2 years, during residency and as an internist, it is a woderful resource, pretty much the best out there if you are in internal medicine.

put the merk pdb file under the ms files of "msfiles" the VFS capabilities of ezreader should be able to read merck just fine from that location WITHOUT any other launchers
