I try to create a connection between my UX-50 and my SE T610 via Bluetooth to pick up my emails and for surfing the web. I want to use GPRS on my mobile.
But i can't get it to work.
Does anyone has hints how to get it done?
BTW: Hotsync via BT to my laptop (IBM TP T40p) works perfect.
Any tips welcome.
Cheers
Peter

hi pweber and welcome to cliesource!!! there's a thread at the very top about UX50 FAQs and i read an article that answers your very question somewhere in there. read the whole article because it is very informative and youll learn a lot more than the answer to ur question.
p.s. dont mind the posters who will come after me who'll tell you to do a search first before asking a question and flame you :)
p.p.s. they have a valid point though, the search function here is very good, and will usually get you the answers to ur questions, if it's not already covered in the Ux50 FAQs... :)

Hi pweber:
I used this website when I set up my UX for the net. I think there is an article there about your issues - see the one for GPRS.

Hope this helps!

Excellent!
The setup for connecting to the internet via BT and my laptop is working almost perfect.
I can ping all hosts i want. When i use Netfront to browse any web page, a connection will be established but no site opened. It shows me a network timeout error instead.
Do i have something overseen?

That happens when you have not setup the data account on the phone properly.
look in the ux faq at the top of this forum, it is in there.
