IR modem connection problems

I just bought both an NX70V and a Pegasus III IR modem to go with it. However, I am having trouble with the Clie recognizing the modem at all.

What settings do I use to get this thingy going?

A review i saw says that you shouldnt have any problem with the modem, i personally have no experiencie with that modem, so my opinion couldnt be taken as true, the only i used for internet access has been my cell phone with the IR port, and the configuration is quite easy, so i think the configuration of that modem should be the same, because the clie is takin my cell as an ir modem.

Your modem manual should have the configuration steps, and it should work just fine with it.

So, please tell us the specific problem so we can give you a better answer.
