So I'm one of those waiting anxiously to buy the new TH55 to replace my T615.  I'm wondering where is the best place to buy a new Clie, and why?  I bought my old one at CompUSA.  It never had any problems (partly why I love it so much!) so I didn't have to deal with returns or exchanges.

Should I buy the TH55 from SonyStyle, CompUSA, an online store, Circuit City?  I hear Best Buy will no longer carry most PDAs.  I could also go to the SonyStyle store here in NYC.

If you want to get a warranty for your clie, then stick with local stores. For best chances to spot great deals, get online. Use pricegrabber, shopping.com, amazon, etc.

I have never bought directly from sony b/c of excessive price.

I would choose a local store, buying online could be dangerous and your money would be lost in case your Clie presents malfunctions.

I'm looking for a SJ-33 and prefer not to buy one around my area as they are more expensive then my Tungsten E, whcih is far superior. I just want a nice pda as a backup, does anyone have one for sale or for trade or something? Please Help

Try searching www.pricegrabber.com . I have found several decent vendors with excellent prices through them.

cdschutte, as you are here in New York like me I would HIGHLY suggest you pay a visit to the SonyStyle store on Madison ave. I bought my NX80 there and experienced nothing but exceptional service. Needless to say they have EVERYTHING in stock. You'll pay full retail, but you will have piece of mind.
