Are there any UX40 owners out there?

One of the stores here on the island is having a closeout sale on the UX40. $389.95

I had the UX50 when it was first released. Couldn't take the whining so I got rid of it. Now I'm thinking of coming back to Sony.

The only problem is, it seems that noone in the UX Forum owns the UX40..

Do you guys think this is good deal since I already have the T610?

Sounds like a good deal to me. If you can have BT access time it should work out good. There is a couple of 'em around here with the 40.

I went to the T3, but I'm not really that good with the grafiti input. The screen was really nice, and surfing the net with it was really quick, but I was too slow with information input and I really didn't feel like lugging around an external keyboard.

After the T3 I tried PPC for the hell of it, and the Dell Axim X3 totally sucked.

So now I'm going back to my roots. The clie. I've owned one of each of those. So I know that I'll enjoy the UX40 since I never really used the Wifi option on the UX50.

I have a UX40. Didn't need the WiFi capabilities of the UX50 because there's no wireless hotspots here in Guam anyway so it's just a total waste of money for me.

I got my UX50 last October -- my cubicle neighbor at work got his UX40 over the Christmas holiday.

I purchased my UX 40 before the price dropped - paid 530.00 for it a few months ago. I do not need the WiFi connectivity - I use bluetooth. That price seems awfully good to me! There are a few of us out here but we tend to keep a low profile. :-)
