Clies not on display in Tokyo

Shopping in Akihabara, Tokyo today I noticed that there are gaps where Clies are usually displayed on the shelves of major electronic retailers like Laox, Sofmap, Bic Camera, etc.

Didn't really realise until I got home, but what stuck in my mind was that the only models that made an impression as being 'on display' were the Clie TJ25 and the UX50 - but both having price reductions. What seemed to be missing were the the TG50, the NX73 and 83, and in some cases the NZ90.

Anyone else notice anything?

Notice that old models that are going to be replaced in about a month (TG50) or 3 months (NX series) are no longer sold? Of course.

I been to some shops in tokyo and bic camera had all their lineup of clies. another shop only had ux-50 and NZ........and all the TJ 25 series. what youmight be seeing resupply og clies coming this happens every so offen.
Prices of the TJ 25 is around 18,000 yen and the UX- 58,000 yen. this is a common price here. But there shop people said there is NO tg-50 at all......... many nz and TJ 25 and many ux-50........they are not cutting these lines he said.

Sofmap and Bic Camera in Yurakcho seemed to be out of everything except UX50s and TJ25s. Didn't see any SJs.

In Akihabara, can't remember the specific stores (they blur after a while), but I agree that the TG50s seem to have gone.

well in other in tokyo they have all the models. on sundat this happens alot. But with the new models coming anything is possible. But I seen this happen before no devices then BOOM everything is there. :)

I think that TG50 and all other models are discontinued in Tokyo and you will have the Clie 2006 models soon!!
