Wifi with linkysys LAN

I am having absolutely no luck with the Sony wifi card and connecting to my home LAN. Followed all instructions in the manuals. Shows connecting, but I can't access email or bring up a web page. I get a network timeout error. Any ideas?

I'm sure it's something simple.

p.s. Went to dinner at a Japanese steakhouse tonight, and my fiance played bejeweled on the NZ for 1/2 hr while waiting for our seating. Drew a big crowd. Then I took some pictures at dinner of the other couples and the chef cooking our dinner in front of us. Too freakin' cool. Now if I could only get wifi working.

there are multiple threads dealing with this subject. some people have gone bonkers trying to get it to work. i have had great success with both my NX and now the NZ. there is athread on the NX forum right now with a good checklist on it....

Thank you very much. I'll check it out soon. I've had wireless laptop access for a long time, so I know its only configuration.
