Battery dead / can't reset

Can someone help me? My SJ33 was displaying an error that said I need to do a reset. I was in the middle of resetting the device when the battery died.

I'm in a bind because I can't do a reset without the battery being charged -- and I can't charge the battery without resetting the device.

I've been on the phone with both Circuit City and Radio Shack -- and apparently no one repairs PDAs.

Any suggestions?

Dead battery = hardreset, so just go ahead and charge the dang thing.  I mean plug it to the charger and leave it alone (let it sit) for at least 2-3 hours before you start messing with it again.
