Any Successful AOL/DSL/Linsys/WL100 connections?

Please tell us how you did it? I got the Hotsync and the Win-Hand working, but I can't get the Internet.

I'm writing this from my NX70 with the WL100!
Netfront 3 does an amzing job of rendering the web on this 320 x 450 screen.

Sorry for that little dig. I wrote the privious message. I have come back to the Laptop now, a little easier to type.

I live in Japan, and as all the equipment is made in Japan it all seems to work very well.. the only problem is that the manuals are in Japanese too.. that is why I need you guys.

If anyone can help you the guys here can.

In wireless LAN setup...under advance setup...UNcheck the power save block. That's what ended up fixing my "can't get on the internet" problem.

If you want to check AOL mail you have to buy the software and it is avalible at Handgo.com

I have replied to you so wouldn't think that your suggested had been ignored, but has already been suggested a few times. There are a couple of users who want to get connected to the interent via AOL's DSL. BClie2k was hoping someone would come along that already has it working.

Yes, You got it.  I hope I am not the only one trying to do this.  I was hoping an AOL DSL user would post saying that he/she got the WL100 working.  AOL really makes things hard.  However, I have read under homenetworking that they mention that wireless LAN is possible.

If there are any Verizon users with Linksys and WL100 working let me know.  I might change my ISP if I cannot get it to work with AOL.  I know it is a drastic desicion but this is getting ridiculous.

Ok, So no AOL DSL working with the WL100?  I'm going to Verizon then, since someone has it working with Verizon DSL.  What do you guys think?

You don't want to know what I think of AOL, even though I never used them, too many issues...

From what I have seen across the forums here, is that those using Netgear wireless equipment seemed to have pretty good luck with it. I still believe the CF WL100 driver is very primative. This is where Sony has driven everyone crazy by with-holding information from developers. Heavens forbid if we could get some real awesome use out of our Clies, I am sure it's by design to keep us hungry!
