Look at this slide show on sony's site: http://sonyelectronics.sonystyle.com/sohoscenario3c/
On the 2nd to last slide "04 NEW HOME" look at the screen on the NX70. Something look strange to you?

The audio player seems to have visualizations.

Are you talking the lack of that piece of plastic on the bottom of the screen? This shows up in other pictures on this slideshow.

I hadn't noticed that. Like I said a couple of posts up, the audioplayer looks like it has visualizations.

Here is a pic. I guess the entire thing must be faked since it is missing that plastic piece at the bottom.

Maybe it is those made from cardboards :)

Hi,
The CLIE that you see in the slide is an NR, not an NX. Note that there is no "bulge" on the upper back. It's quite obvious especially in that shot where you point out the visualization. I seem to recall that prior (OS4) AudioPlayer had visualization...

Pretty much all manufacturers simulate LCD screenshots since a real picture makes it look aweful. In this case, it looks like they took the OS4 audio player and put it on the nx70 screen, not hard to do when everythign is sim ulated.

they make the pictures taken in the scenario (e.g. taking a picture of the tv) ALOT nicer than in real life.
i hate sony advertisements.
You can tell it's an NX because of the light next to the power button. There have been numerous times when Sony has used faked screens in advertisements (which as stated above, is common) but has made the mistake of using the OS4 audio player on an OS5 device (and also the lack of the black plastic thing at the bottom).

Yea, seems like this gets brought up every few months. Sony just superimposes screenshots ontop of units. Backlit LCD screens to not photograph well, so the art department does the work. These people always get OS4 and OS5 mixed up. They also put the NR's Hires+ screen on the T665 once. Imagine all the fuss that created.

I don't understand why people are still buying the NX70 when it is listed for almost as much as the NX73v and you can buy them really cheap on ebay, I got mine new and boxed for £245 it's the euro version so it's got embeded bluetooth as well.

it's still a damn good price considering Dabs UK lists it at £339 as do Comet electrical store. so £245 IS a bargain. Even more so when you consider I bought my TG50 for £230 so the upgrade is £25.

If anyone is still on this thread i'd like to point out, That the clie there is an NX, its power button is more squared and so is its camera, but as u say it is missing the plastic

You may also notice as someone has already pointed out that there is a recording light, a giveaway factor to determine between a NX and NR
