MY NX-70 would be SO much more valuable if Sony or someone would come out with a bluetooth memstick. I have seen/heard there is one in Japan that is available. Why not here? Did I hear the rumour correctly? Or are the electronics too big for the MS format?

The NX-70 is basically a mini-laptop. Without web access, however, it's just another toy. I know there's an 802.11b CF card for it, but what about bluetooth? I just want this thing to be able to grab my email no matter where I am, not necessarily in a hot-spot like Starbucks.

Word up!

I don't know if this is a typo, but Expansys has the Bluetooth Memory Stick for only $115!

You could also buy the new NZ90 for $800 bucks, as it now includes Bluetooth:D.

I have no idea of Bluetooth's range, so you may need to factor that in too.

I use the Bluetooth Memory Stick here in the U.S. with my SE T68i cell phone. I have been very happy with the reliability and ease of checking my e-mail with Snappermail. It is a great combination. I switched from Verizon Wireless to T-Mobile to be able to browse the web and check e-mail. T-mobile doesn't have near the coverage, but it has been worth it for me.

There is a good article on Znet about Bluetooth and Wifi.
