Clie Audio Remote

You know that little remote cable that comes with NX's? Does anyone have one that they never use? Sell it to me! It's a big hassle having to bust out the Clie from my backpack and open it up just to fast forward one song.

Which clie do you have?

All the clies (nx/nz) that support that remote COMES with it.

The clies that to not come with it means it doesn't suport it because there isn't a connector hole to put it in.

Do a search for "clie nx remote" without the quotes on ebay and you will find 2.

Tried to buy a remote on eBay 3 times. I was outbid every time in the last 3 mins. I would also like to buy someones unused remote, but without the hassle of bid...wait...bid again...wait...LOSE. Either PM me, or post a response and I will take that old remote off of your hands.;)

You can use any Sony remote commander . . . .

How would remote commander help? They are looking for the physucal audio remote.

Sony calls their remotes "commanders" in audio, car audio, everything. I am talking about the chunk on the headphones that allows you to change tracks and whatnot without having to take out the clie/cd player/mp3 player, etc. i am aware of what i am talking about.

I guess I misunderstood then. Sorry. I though you were talking about the program "Clie RMC" which I though stood for Remote Commander. BTW, I tried using the remote from my Clie on my friend's sony mini disk and it didn't fit in the jack.

the remotes on the CD/MD/MP3 players are slimmer and longer, but there was a remote that worked . . . . maybe his mp3 player had the clie-remote kinda plug

SONY did this on purpose so people cannot interchange their remote with two different devices. Btw, I wonder why Sony doesnt sell the Clie audio remote as an accessory? I know the one that comes witht he Clie is not that great, but they can sell one that is better?? Possibly one that has an LCD screen on it like the ones for the MD players?

They do sell one, which is chunkier than the standard issue. No LCD screen AFAIK.

PEGA-SA10 discontinued, but still available in some Sony shops.

totally agree ... if it can be used with your Clie, it should have been in the box with it ....

I didn't even realize that MD remotes only have those gold contacts on one side.....
