View Full Version : How do I fix lost WorldMate file synchronization?

I lost WorldMate file synchronization (The Weather Channel and Atomic Time) after installing a new app.  Does anyone know how to get it resynchronized again?

Try opening Palm Desktop/HotSync/Custom, and then change the WorldMate actions. Check the box for Update Palm Time, and then try a hot sync to see if that does the trick.

I've done that several times to the point of defining insanity, but it does seem to budge. Any other trick in your sleeve? Also I tried to launch the WorldMate.exe which automatically reinstalled the WorldMate.prc in the next HotSync, but still no luck.

Hey, it synchronizes finally. :D

I guess I just need to be patience and catch my breath. This file synchronizing thing has some sort of time delay eventhough I put 0 hour on the Online content update. Thanks for your response Burdie.

What app did you install that broke it? Also, did you uninstall Worldmate, using the uninstall programs of Windows, before you tried to reinstall it?

ToDay 1.8 was the culprit.  But it works okay now.

I did not uninstall the WorldMate.exe before reinstalling it.  That probably explains why.  My bad!  Just didn't think straight at the time.  Thanks Sebring.
