I am not sure if anyone else had issues hotsync'ing via their wireless lan but I had one hell of a time with it.
It works now. BUT there is a "work-around" I have to use.
1st I have the Clie UX50, I am saying this just in case this problem is model specific.
OK, if you follow the normal instructions provided you will time out when you click hotsync on your clie.
After I poked around I found that if you go to your hotsync window, pull down your options menus, select 'Primary PC Setup . . '
In this window you will see 3 fields.
Primary PC Name:
Primary PC Address:
Primary Mask(optional):
You should see the Name and Address feilds filled out.
REMOVE the 'Primary PC Name'
Click OK
Now hotsync. Provided you followed the rest of the 'Wireless LAN' sync setup instuctions your wirless LAN hotsync will now work.
The one bad part is when you sync the Clie will re-populate the 'Primary PC Name' feild.
Sooo, Every time you want to sync via your wirless LAN you will need to remove 'Primary PC Name'.
For me this isn't an issue, it's one simple step.
I hope this helps someone. I personaly hated connecting the USB cable everytime I wanted to sync.
