Questions about deleting stuff off my clie?

Okay first of all if I am not going to be perusing the web on my clie do I need netfront? Is this integral to anything I do on the web through my computer or is it just a waste of space if I don't have wireless internet? Secondly is there a way of formating my memory card through my clie. I was sure I saw an option for it a couple of days ago but I couldn't find it this morning so I am a little annoyed. Thanks!

No, you do NOT need Netfront if you won't be doing the Wireless web with the NX.

As for formatting the MS stick:
1. Select "Card Info"
2. In the bottom of the screen, click the button to the right of the "home" icon to bring down the menu from the top.
3. Select "format" from there

If I do decide to delete netfront though and later get an wireless card, is this an application, that is easily downloaded again like on my install cd etc?

its on the cdrom, but I recommend the web browser - Blazer,
downloadable at handspring.com its Cheap, if I remembe correct.

Its just way more user friendly, and holds a ton of quick launch bookmarks. Netfront IMHO is utter crap for a web browser.

Looks like it needs a modem, BT or IR connection to phone.
Not sure if it works with a Wi-Fi connection.

I used it and didn't like it. Its only 320x320 (you can't use the VG part of the screen).

agree ... stick with NetFront (unless u find something better..) ... that way atleast you can use all the screen space ... :D

Don bother to delete NetFront even you didn use it. Because it is on the ROM which means you cannot delete it (There are some strange ways to delete but definitely not recommended). Netfront is not taking up any space on your RAM so don bother about it.

On the NX70v Netfront is not in the rom....it must be loaded into the ram and it takes up over 2 mgs....

yes I think you can store netfront on your MS ... it can be run from there although it some part of it will be copied into the internal storage when you run it ....

BMEngineer: yes NetFront can be deleted (at least on a 60/U) ... I did that already ... it comes in the Install CD so you can always reload it ... :D
