Finally bought an NX60 for 250 with the Compusa assurance plan. Bought it second hand but made sure the plan was transferrable.

Anyways, its coming to me on the 12th or so... I had the following PDA's so far:

Handspring Platinum - mostly avantgo, ebook reading, some light gaming

Vx - same as above but less gaming

Ipaq 2210 - was very excited about this device initially and used it to watch some divx movies, check email and browse through both 802.11b and bluetooth/cellphone.

Unfortunately I found it less and less useful as time went on especially because the screen was very small and I couldn't get SNES emulation working at an acceptable speed for me even with overclocking.

Don't get me wrong, I don't plan on using the NX60 for gaming at all. I was mostly hoping ebook reader with the massive screen, email checker, and light browser.

I learned with the pPC that browsing on handheld devices was a huge pain and not worth the frustration (PocketIE) so I don't expect to be too much of that.

What I would like to know however is from other clie 60nx users ... how much does Jackflash get you back?

And if I use zlauncher or Power run i should be able to run progs straight from the memory stick.

What's the biggest size my memory stick slot can take?

I plan to install the patches first from Sony as I get and perhaps look for a CF driver somwhere.

I am surprise....since 2210 is a much newer set than NX in terms of release date and in the PPC camp 2210 is considered as one of the good PPC available.

Yeah, I tried to use it as a minilaptop but it just didn't cut the mustard.

The 240x320 screen really bothered me the most and it wasn't always the most stable machine but that probably had a lot to do with my overclocking.

I found I used it most for Mp3's so I sold it and got an Ipod instead.

if you are talking of the Max memory size that the MS can be then it goes upto 1gb (though that is expensive at $599 by Sony ) others from Sandisk etc are good enough and give you upto 256 MB. Ms pro will require drivers but the normal (basic) MS doesnt require these drivers ....

Actually San Disk and Lexar are just as good as Sony memory sticks ad go up to 1GB as well: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00008ZPNT/ref%3Dnosim/7240513-20/102-7260480-0670556 .

The regular MS go up to 128mb (and 256mb if you consider the MSSelect which give you 2 128mb sticks in on with a switch on the back)

does Sandisk make their own 1Gb MS or are they selling the same magicgate ones ???? how is lexar ... I use sandisk and have no problems ... is lexar as easy to use or does it require drivers ?

Sandisk makes their own 1GB MS and they are MagicGate (all MSPROs are magicgate - its a standard not a brand). Pretty much all the brands of memory sticks are the same (Sony, Lexar, and Sandisk) no one is better than the other unless you think that the little blinking light on the regular lexar MSs makes them better.
