My screen is shattered!!

The screen of my clie T615 is shattered! It looks like a car window when a rock hits it! I'm not even sure how it happened! I picked it up yesterday and it was broken!! I read the warranty and there is probably no way sony would replace it. So, what do I do now?? Anyone know who repairs them? or how much it would cost? should I just buy a new one? I am soooo poor!!!

just called sony and of course the screen will cost me $170 to get fixed. Guess I will be looking for a new clie when I can afford one unless anyone else has any suggestions :(

Try http://www.gethightech.com/ for help. They are much cheaper than the manufacturer, and I believe that they are doing Sony stuff now. Not positive, though.

thanks, but they don't have my screen. Only T610 and some others. Anyone know of anyone that sells the T615 screen? I don't need the LCD, just the glass top/digitizer.

T610 = T615 of Japan. Same device, different region.

Sometimes you can pick up non-working electronics on eBay...units that don't work but the part you want is fine...iotw, find someone selling your model for parts...

or you could buy a new sj30 for only $219, pretty much the same as a t615 only in a different body, minus the RMC
