I've seen available cables from PC-mobile and SupplyNet that attach NR (and others) to Garmin eTrex GPS. My questions are:

1) Are any of you using this combination?
2) What software apps are you using, does it take advantage of the NR full sreen?

Thanks for any info you can share.

I've been using a NR70v with a eTrax paired with a cableset from pccables running Mapopolis. Mapopolis uses the full screen and the setup worked quite well. My cableset had cig lighter plug to charge the Clie as well.

I use the StreetFinder (RandMcNally) with Garmin eTrex Vista and Clie N760C. Check this thread (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36758&perpage=15&pagenumber=3) for more info and lots of good pictures to see for those of you who like gadgets & want to know how the hardware connection detail & NMEA input/output signal are setup. ;)

Yes I use my eTrex Legend with my NR70V and some of those cables. I also use mapopolis for the mapping software. Works great! I only wish I could enter a lat-lon coordinate in mapopolis and have it show me that position on the map.
