I posted this topic not too long ago and received a rather lackluster response, so here it is again :) I was wondering if anyone had good suggestions for a protective covering. Does everyone use the big bag cases, or does anyone use one that still allows the clie to fit into your pocket? Also does anyone use a protector for the screen face? Are they worth the dough? Thanks.

Have you tried searching? There are many good threads on this topic, such as the Official NX Cases Thread (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35&highlight=nx70+case+bellagio).
I like my Bellagio case (http://www.bellagiodesigns.com/showcategory3.php?cod_category3=7&cod_category1=1), especially because you can Hotsync while the case is on.
Some considerations:
Do you want leather or metal?
Do you mind removing the case to hotsync?
Do you need a belt clip?
Do you need storage (for MS? for WiFI card?)
Do you mind the extra bulk a case will add?

As for screen protectors, I definitely think they're worth it. I'm currently using a Boxwave (http://www.boxwave.com/products/cleartouch/ct_clie_nx70v.htm) and have been happy with it. However, I hear that the Martin Fields (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37231&highlight=martin+protector) is even better.
Again, there are many, many threads on this topic. Search and you'll find lots of good reading. Good luck!

I prefer Vaja for all my cases, but for my NX I decided to save some money and bought a Covertec case. I'd give them a look.

I have an NX and the person I bought it from threw in a "Sena" case. It has two ms slots, two other slots for misc things ( use it to store the cf card), and openings for cf slot, sound speaker, and reset button. I'm really impressed by it so far, but unfortunately I don't know where to find them, sorry. But if you are interested in it I can contact the previous owner and he might know. Thanx,
jdog
